The States suck!

Obviously there are many differences between the US and the UK. Today we had a lecture about the educational system. Somehow the government finds a way (until recently) to fund ALL schooling. By this I mean primary, secondary and until two years ago college was entirely free of tuition. Even though they have now introduced tuition it is £3,000 at the most per yer. That is fucking cheap as hell compared to the states. And on top of this, there is no such thing as Gen Eds in their higher education. They take care of all the useless bullshit in high school. Why can't the states do this? It makes me want to move here simply for the education and the fact that everyone here sees bush as a raging idiot, as well as all the americans that voted for him. It is great to finally find a place that feels the same way about american politics as i do. But then again tony blair doesn't seem to be much better.

england's education system also wants to eliminate the word "fail" and replace it with "deferred success"
